Most Fractures heal well with the right treatment at the right time. When one doesn’t, or an earlier Operation has failed, it needs a careful rethink.

What I treat

  • Fresh Fractures of the Arm, Leg, Wrist and Ankle
  • Fractures that haven’t united (Non-Union) or healed crooked (Malunion)
  • Infection after Fracture Surgery
  • Fracture Follow-Ups, Cast changes and removal at Balenso Ortho

Finding why a Fracture hasn’t healed

Blood supply, stability, Infection and general health all play a part. I look at each before choosing between Refixation, Bone Grafting or Frame-based reconstruction.
